The Mighty Welland Canal
Wow what an experience!!! After a week of sitting for repairs, on our way with crew. Had to wait until about 1:30 pm to start through so docked in the dark wind and rain at Port Colburne overnight. Will be in Erie at Home Port tomorrow!

On The Erie Canal System
Had an early leave this morning for our first day on our own. Also our first experience with Locks. Wow what an adventure. Winds and current sure make getting into small places a challenge. We are discovering how very naive we are. The locks only opened on May 1st. And they only stay open until 5PM....
